Squill contains cardiac glycosides. Theoretically, concomitant use with potassium-depleting diuretics can increase the risk of cardiac glycoside toxicity due to potassium depletion. Some diuretics that can deplete potassium include chlorothiazide (Diuril), chlorthalidone (Thalitone), furosemide (Lasix), hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ, Hydrodiuril, Microzide), and others.

Here is the key thing to know about your Edarbyclor: it combines azilsartan (a blood pressure medicine) with chlorthalidone, a water pill that can lower your body's potassium over time. That low potassium is exactly where squill becomes a worry. Squill carries heart-acting compounds called cardiac glycosides, very similar to digoxin, and when potassium runs low, those compounds can hit the heart harder. That raises the risk of an irregular or dangerous heart rhythm.

To be honest, this concern is theoretical, based on how these things work rather than real-world reports, but squill itself can be genuinely toxic. I would not recommend taking it. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding any squill product, and keep an eye on your potassium.
