Danthron , Docusate falls under STIMULANT LAXATIVES — the group Swamp Milkweed interacts with.

Theoretically, excessive use of stimulant laxatives with swamp milkweed might increase the risk of toxicity.
Swamp milkweed contains cardioactive steroids known as cardenolides that may have digitalis-like activity. Excessive use of stimulant laxatives can cause diarrhea, resulting in potassium depletion. This might increase the risk of toxicity.

Here's the simple version. Co-Danthrusate combines danthron (a stimulant laxative) with docusate (a stool softener). When you overuse a stimulant laxative and get a lot of diarrhea, your body can lose potassium. That's the heart of this concern. Swamp Milkweed contains heart-acting compounds called cardenolides that behave a bit like the medication digoxin. When potassium runs low, these heart-affecting compounds can become more dangerous, raising the risk of toxicity and irregular heart rhythms.

I want to be honest about the evidence: this is theoretical, based on how these substances work rather than real case reports. Even so, Swamp Milkweed isn't a safe supplement to take on your own. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining the two, and don't push laxatives past what's recommended.
