Ethinyl Estradiol, Norethindrone falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Terminalia interacts with.

Theoretically, use of Terminalia arjuna may increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that Terminalia arjuna extract inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes and reduces CYP3A4 substrate metabolism.

Your birth control pill combines two active hormones, ethinyl estradiol and norethindrone, and your liver clears them in part through an enzyme called CYP3A4. Lab studies hint that Terminalia arjuna may slow this enzyme down. If that happened in real life, the hormones could linger a bit longer and build up, which might mean more of the usual estrogen-type side effects like nausea, breast tenderness, bloating, headaches, or mood changes.

I want to be honest about how weak this evidence is. It comes only from test-tube work, not from people taking these together, so it may not matter at all. Still, since this is a hormone medication, it is worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding Terminalia.
