Esterified Estrogens falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Thunder God Vine interacts with.

Theoretically, thunder god vine might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that triptolide, a constituent of thunder god vine, inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes in human microsomes. This interaction has not been reported in humans.

Here's the basic idea with these two. Your body uses an enzyme called CYP3A4 to break down esterified estrogens (Menest, Estratab). Thunder God Vine contains a compound called triptolide that, at least in lab dish studies, seems to slow that same enzyme down. If it slows the cleanup, more estrogen could hang around in your blood, which may nudge up estrogen-related effects like breast tenderness, bloating, nausea, headaches, or spotting.

Now, the honest part: this is theoretical. It's based on test-tube work, not on real people taking both together, so we truly don't know how much it matters in practice. Thunder God Vine also has serious safety concerns of its own. Before mixing these, please check with your doctor or pharmacist so they can weigh it for your situation.
