Acetohexamide falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Tree Turmeric interacts with.

Theoretically, tree turmeric, taken alone or in combination with milk thistle, might increase the risk of hypoglycemia in patients taking antidiabetes drugs.
Clinical research shows that taking a product containing tree turmeric and milk thistle extracts can lower blood glucose levels, glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), and insulin resistance in patients with type 2 diabetes, including those on antidiabetic agents. Additionally, clinical research suggests that berberine, a constituent of tree turmeric, can lower blood glucose levels.

Here's the thing to keep in mind: acetohexamide (Dymelor) is an older sulfonylurea that works by pushing your pancreas to release more insulin, which brings your blood sugar down. Tree turmeric, thanks to its berberine, also tends to lower blood sugar on its own. So when you stack the two together, those effects can add up.

The practical worry is hypoglycemia, or blood sugar dropping too low. That can show up as shakiness, sweating, dizziness, a racing heart, confusion, or feeling suddenly weak. This isn't a far-fetched theory either, since human studies back up that berberine lowers blood sugar. I wouldn't tell you to stop either one, but please loop in your pharmacist or doctor first. They may want to watch your numbers more closely or adjust things.
