Chlorothiazide, Reserpine falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Tree Turmeric interacts with.

Theoretically, taking tree turmeric along with antihypertensive drugs might have additive effects and increase the risk of hypotension.
Animal research suggests that berberine, a constituent of tree turmeric, can have hypotensive effects. Also, a meta-analysis of clinical research suggests that taking berberine in combination with amlodipine (Norvasc) can lower systolic and diastolic blood pressure when compared with taking amlodipine alone.

Diupres is a combo pill: chlorothiazide is a water pill (diuretic) and reserpine calms the nervous system. Both lower your blood pressure. Tree turmeric, thanks to its berberine, may gently nudge blood pressure down too. So if you take them together, the worry is simply an additive effect, meaning your pressure could dip lower than intended.

If that happens, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, tired, or faint when you stand up. Keep in mind this caution is mostly theoretical, based on animal and lab studies rather than strong human trials, so don't panic. Still, please loop in your pharmacist or doctor before adding tree turmeric, and let them know if you notice any low-pressure symptoms.
