Here's the gist for your Xelstrym patch. Berberine, the yellow compound in tree turmeric, can slow down an enzyme called CYP2D6, which is one of the ways your body clears dextroamphetamine. Since your patch is the active drug already (not a prodrug that needs switching on), slowing that breakdown could let more of it linger in your system.

In real life that might mean stronger stimulant effects: a faster or pounding heartbeat, jitteriness, trouble sleeping, less appetite, or feeling wound up. That said, this is mostly theoretical, based on lab work and limited human data, so I wouldn't panic. If you want to try tree turmeric, just loop in your pharmacist or prescriber first so they can keep an eye on how you feel.
