Empagliflozin, Metformin falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Tree Turmeric interacts with.

Theoretically, tree turmeric, taken alone or in combination with milk thistle, might increase the risk of hypoglycemia in patients taking antidiabetes drugs.
Clinical research shows that taking a product containing tree turmeric and milk thistle extracts can lower blood glucose levels, glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), and insulin resistance in patients with type 2 diabetes, including those on antidiabetic agents. Additionally, clinical research suggests that berberine, a constituent of tree turmeric, can lower blood glucose levels.

Here's the thing to keep in mind with Synjardy, which combines empagliflozin and metformin to lower your blood sugar. Tree turmeric (mainly its berberine) has its own blood-sugar-lowering effect, and good-quality studies back that up. So when you take them together, you're stacking two things that push glucose down, and your levels could drop lower than expected.

That raises the chance of hypoglycemia, which can feel like shakiness, sweating, dizziness, a racing heart, or confusion. Please don't stop or change anything on your own. If you'd like to try tree turmeric, talk with your pharmacist or doctor first so they can keep an eye on your numbers and adjust your plan safely. Checking your blood sugar a bit more often is a smart move.
