Inotersen falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Tree Turmeric interacts with.

Theoretically, tree turmeric might have additive effects when used with anticoagulant and antiplatelet drugs and increase the risk of bleeding.
In vitro and animal research suggest that berberine, a constituent of tree turmeric, can inhibit platelet aggregation.

Here's the thing with Inotersen (Tegsedi): it's a medicine for a rare nerve condition (hereditary transthyretin amyloidosis), and one of its known side effects is that it can lower your platelet count, sometimes a lot. Low platelets mean your blood doesn't clot as well, so bleeding and bruising become a real concern with this drug.

Now, tree turmeric (and its active ingredient berberine) has shown in lab and animal studies that it may make platelets less sticky too. So in theory, stacking it on top of Inotersen could add to that bleeding risk. I'll be honest, this is theoretical and based on early research, not strong human studies. Still, since Inotersen already affects platelets, I'd loop in your doctor or pharmacist before adding this supplement.
