Quinethazone falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Tree Turmeric interacts with.

Theoretically, taking tree turmeric along with antihypertensive drugs might have additive effects and increase the risk of hypotension.
Animal research suggests that berberine, a constituent of tree turmeric, can have hypotensive effects. Also, a meta-analysis of clinical research suggests that taking berberine in combination with amlodipine (Norvasc) can lower systolic and diastolic blood pressure when compared with taking amlodipine alone.

Quinethazone (Hydromox) is a thiazide-type water pill that lowers blood pressure by helping your body get rid of extra salt and fluid. Tree turmeric, through its active compound berberine, may gently nudge blood pressure downward too. Stack the two together and their effects could add up, so your pressure may dip lower than expected.

Keep in mind this caution comes mostly from animal and lab studies, with only limited human data, so it's more of a theoretical heads-up than a proven problem. Still, if you notice dizziness, lightheadedness, feeling faint when you stand up, or unusual tiredness, that's worth paying attention to. Please don't start or stop anything on your own. Check with your pharmacist or doctor first, and they may simply want to keep an eye on your blood pressure.
