Mometasone, formoterol falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) SUBSTRATES — the group Turkey Tail Mushroom interacts with.

Theoretically, the polysaccharide peptide (PSP) component of turkey tail mushroom might inhibit CYP2C9.
Laboratory research suggests that the PSP component of turkey tail mushroom dose-dependently inhibits CYP2C9. Theoretically, taking PSP with drugs metabolized by CYP2C9 might increase drug levels and the risk of adverse effects. However, this has not been reported in humans.

Here's the thing about your Zenhale inhaler (mometasone plus formoterol): it works right in your lungs, and only a small amount gets into your bloodstream. The concern on file is that a component of turkey tail (PSP) might block an enzyme called CYP2C9 that helps clear certain medicines. In theory, blocking it could let drug levels build up a bit and slightly raise the chance of side effects like a fast or pounding heartbeat, jitteriness, or a tremor from the formoterol part.

That said, this is based only on lab studies, not real people, and it's rated as a minor, theoretical interaction. With an inhaled medicine, the risk is even lower. Still, it's worth a quick mention to your pharmacist or doctor before you start turkey tail, just to be safe.
