General Statements

The German Chamomile (Matricaria recutita L.) flower contains bisobolols in the essential oil, plus en-in-dicycloether, matricine, chamazuline, and flavonoids (apigenin and luteoline). This extract is standardized at 1% apigenin and 0.5% essential oil.

Meets Douglas Laboratories spec [#77314]. Conforms to USP <2091> for weight. Meets USP <2040> for disintegration.

Suggested/Recommended/Usage/Directions

Suggested Usage: As a dietary supplement, adults take 1 capsule daily between meals, or as advised by your healthcare professional. If digestive irritation occurs, take with meals.

Precautions

Stop use and consult your healthcare professional if allergic reactions occur.

Note: If pregnant or nursing consult your health care professional before using.

There have been rare cases of allergic reaction in persons with severe hypersensitivity to ragweed pollen.

Theoretically, German chamomile might have additive effects when used with CNS depressants.
German chamomile has mild sedative effects. Theoretically, concomitant use with drugs with sedative properties can cause additive effects and side effects.
