Lisdexamfetamine falls under STIMULANT DRUGS — the group Aconite interacts with.

Theoretically, combining aconite with other stimulant drugs might alter the effects of the stimulant drug or increase the risk of cardiovascular toxicity.
Aconite and its constituents have stimulant effects due to agonist activity at beta-2-adrenoreceptors. In cardiac muscle, aconite appears to have a positive inotropic effect and increases heart rate and blood pressure. However, some constituents of aconite can reduce heart rate and blood pressure.

Here's the gist for Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine): it's a stimulant that can already raise your heart rate and blood pressure as part of how it works. Aconite is thought to have its own stimulant-like effects on the heart and blood vessels. Put them together and, in theory, you could stack those effects, which might mean a faster heartbeat, higher blood pressure, palpitations, or feeling jittery and anxious. To be honest though, this concern comes from lab and animal studies, not from people, so it's more of a precaution than a proven problem.

The bigger issue is aconite itself. It's genuinely toxic and isn't something I'd recommend using at all. Please don't change your Vyvanse on your own, but do check with your pharmacist or doctor before going near any aconite product.

Brand name: Vyvanse

Lisdexamfetamine treats Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in adults and children age 6 and older. It is also approved to treat moderate to severe binge eating disorder (BED) in adults.

It is not approved or recommended for weight loss, and its safety and effectiveness for treating obesity have not been established. It is not recommended in children under 6 years old.
