Consensi is a combo pill that pairs amlodipine (a blood pressure medicine) with celecoxib (an anti-inflammatory). The piece that matters here is the amlodipine. Baikal skullcap contains a plant compound called baicalein, and in animal studies it appeared to nudge blood pressure down on its own. Stack that on top of amlodipine, which is already lowering your blood pressure, and the two could add up.

If your pressure drops too far, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, tired, or like you could faint when you stand up. To be clear, this is theoretical and based only on lab and animal work, not real-world cases, so don't panic. Still, check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding this herb, and don't stop anything on your own.
