Baikal Skullcap + Avatrombopag Maleate
Avatrombopag Maleate brand name: Doptelet.
Baikal Skullcap has a minor interaction with Avatrombopag Maleate. Theoretically, Baikal skullcap might increase levels of drugs transported by P-glycoprotein.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
P-GLYCOPROTEIN SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Avatrombopag Maleate
Avatrombopag Maleate falls under P-GLYCOPROTEIN SUBSTRATES — the group Baikal Skullcap interacts with.
In vitro and animal research suggests that baicalein, oroxylin A, and wogonin, constituents of Baikal skullcap, can inhibit P-glycoprotein. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the simple version: your body uses a kind of cellular bouncer called P-glycoprotein to help move avatrombopag (Doptelet) in and out of cells. In lab and animal studies, certain compounds in Baikal skullcap (like baicalein and wogonin) seem to slow that bouncer down. In theory, that could let a little more avatrombopag stay in your system, which might nudge up its effects, including a higher platelet count or side effects like headache, tiredness, or swelling.
I want to be honest, though. This has only been seen in test tubes and animals, never confirmed in people, and it's rated a minor concern. I wouldn't lose sleep over it, but since avatrombopag affects clotting, please run it by your pharmacist or doctor before adding this herb.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Avatrombopag Maleate page
“Avatrombopag maleate (Doptelet) exists to raise a low platelet count, so anything that drags its blood level down invites the bleeding risk it was prescribed to prevent. I would handle this list of 54 supplements with real care, and the two rated major come first.”
