Cilostazol falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Burdock interacts with.

Theoretically, taking burdock with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs might increase the risk of bleeding.

In vitro research shows that lignans from burdock reduce rabbit platelet aggregation by inhibiting platelet activating factor. This interaction has not been reported in humans.

Here's the thing to keep in mind: Cilostazol (Pletal) already works to keep your platelets from clumping together, which helps blood flow more easily through narrowed leg arteries. Burdock may add a small nudge in that same direction. In lab studies using rabbit platelets, lignans from burdock slowed platelet activity too. So in theory, pairing the two could tip you toward easier bruising, nosebleeds, or bleeding that takes longer to stop.

I want to be honest about the evidence here: this is only a test-tube and animal finding, and it has never actually been reported in people. The amount of burdock you'd eat as a vegetable is very unlikely to matter. Concentrated supplements are the bigger question. Just loop in your pharmacist or doctor before adding a burdock supplement.
