Here's the practical takeaway with this combo. Your Norco (or Lortab) contains hydrocodone, an opioid that naturally calms the brain and can make you drowsy, foggy, or slow your breathing. The dream herb, Calea zacatechichi, has also shown some brain-calming (sedative) effects in both animals and people. So putting the two together could, in theory, stack that sleepiness on top of each other.

I want to be honest about the evidence though: this is a theoretical concern based on how each one behaves, not from solid human studies. It's rated minor. Still, if you notice extra grogginess, dizziness, or feel unusually out of it, that's your cue to check in with your pharmacist or doctor before continuing to use them together.
