Here's the gist: Addyi (flibanserin) already tends to make some women feel drowsy, lightheaded, or even faint, especially in the first hours after a dose. The dream herb Calea zacatechichi has shown its own mild calming, brain-slowing effect in animals and some people. Put the two together and, in theory, you could feel more sleepy or woozy than you would with either one alone.

To be fair, this is a theoretical concern based on how each one behaves, not on solid studies of the pair, and it's rated as minor. Still, since flibanserin can already cause dizziness and low blood pressure (worse with alcohol), I'd keep it simple and run this combination past your pharmacist or doctor before mixing them.

What Is Flibanserin Used For?

Brand name: Addyi

Addyi is approved to treat acquired, generalized hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) — a condition where low sexual desire causes significant distress or relationship difficulty — in women under 65. "Acquired" means the low desire developed after a period of normal desire; "generalized" means it happens regardless of the situation or partner.

Addyi is not intended for use in men, and it is not a sexual performance enhancer. It is also not meant for HSDD that is caused by a medical condition, a psychiatric condition, relationship problems, or another medication.
