The drug you're asking about, sold as Combunox, pairs ibuprofen with oxycodone. The oxycodone half is an opioid, and opioids already calm the brain and can make you drowsy. The concern here is that Calea zacatechichi (dream herb) may have its own mild brain-calming effect, so taking the two together could add up and leave you more sleepy, foggy, or lightheaded than usual.

I want to be honest about how solid this is: it's theoretical, based on how the herb behaves in animals and a few people, not on strong human studies with this exact medication. Still, since oxycodone can already slow breathing in higher doses, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, and don't drive until you know how you feel.
