Hydrochlorothiazide, Metoprolol falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Cannabigerol (cbg) interacts with.

Theoretically, taking cannabigerol with antihypertensive drugs might increase the risk of hypotension.
Animal research shows that an intraperitoneal injection of cannabigerol lowers blood pressure. The mechanism of action may be related to alpha-2-adrenoreceptor activity. The effect of oral intake of cannabigerol is unclear and this has not been shown in humans.

Here's the simple version for your blood pressure combo of hydrochlorothiazide and metoprolol (Lopressor HCT). Both pieces of that pill already work to bring your blood pressure down: the water pill helps you shed extra fluid, and the beta blocker slows your heart and eases its workload. The concern is that CBG might nudge your pressure down a little further, so stacking them could in theory lead to too low a reading.

If that happened, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, tired, or faint when you stand up quickly. But honestly, this is mostly a theory right now. The blood pressure drop was seen in animals given injections, not in people taking CBG by mouth, so the real-world risk is unclear. Please don't change anything on your own. Just give your pharmacist or doctor a heads-up before adding CBG.
