Hydrochlorothiazide, Losartan Potassium falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Cannabis interacts with.

Theoretically, cannabis may increase the levels and adverse effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that cannabis can inhibit the activity of CYP3A4 enzymes, which might decrease the metabolism of CYP3A4 substrates. In vitro research also shows that cannabis extracts modestly inhibit the CYP3A4 metabolism of testosterone; extracts providing the specific cannabinoids CBD and cannabigerol (CBG) had stronger inhibitory effects than extracts containing THC and CBD.

Here's the honest picture with Hyzaar (a blood pressure combo of losartan and hydrochlorothiazide) and cannabis. The concern on file is that cannabis may block a liver enzyme called CYP3A4, which could let certain drugs build up. For losartan, that's a bit complicated: losartan is actually a partial prodrug, meaning part of its blood pressure benefit comes from a more active form your body makes. So slowing this enzyme could, in theory, shift how much active drug you get, while the water pill portion isn't really affected this way.

The important thing: this is based only on lab and test-tube research, not real patients, so it's quite theoretical. Practically, watch more for cannabis lowering your blood pressure and adding dizziness or lightheadedness. If you notice that, please check in with your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.
