Aminolevulinic Acid Hydrochloride falls under PHOTOSENSITIZING DRUGS — the group Chlorophyllin interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of chlorophyllin with photosensitizing drugs may have additive effects.
Chlorophyllin is a semi-synthetic derivative of chlorophyll. Chlorophyll has been reported to cause photosensitization. Orally, chlorophyll has also been associated with the development of pseudoporphyria in multiple case reports.

Here's the thing with aminolevulinic acid (Ameluz, Gleolan): it's designed to make your skin or target tissue extra sensitive to light. That's actually how it works, your body turns it into a light-reactive compound so a special lamp can treat the area. The main caution afterward is that your skin can stay sensitive, so bright sunlight or strong indoor lights can cause redness, stinging, swelling, or a sunburn-like reaction.

Chlorophyllin can also make skin more reactive to light in some people. So stacking the two could, in theory, add to that light sensitivity and make those reactions a bit more likely. This is largely a theoretical concern based on limited reports, not strong proof. Still, please mention the chlorophyllin to your doctor or pharmacist before your treatment, and follow the sun-protection instructions you're given.
