Celecoxib falls under PHOTOSENSITIZING DRUGS — the group Chlorophyllin interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of chlorophyllin with photosensitizing drugs may have additive effects.
Chlorophyllin is a semi-synthetic derivative of chlorophyll. Chlorophyll has been reported to cause photosensitization. Orally, chlorophyll has also been associated with the development of pseudoporphyria in multiple case reports.

Here's the thing about pairing chlorophyllin with celecoxib: both can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Celecoxib (Celebrex) is a known photosensitizer, meaning it can raise your odds of sunburn or a rash with sun exposure. Chlorophyllin has also been linked to sun sensitivity, so taking them together could, in theory, add up and make your skin react more easily to UV light.

I want to be honest that this is mostly a theoretical concern, based on reports rather than strong studies. It doesn't change how well your celecoxib treats pain or swelling. Still, it's worth using sunscreen, hats, and shade while on both, and chatting with your pharmacist or doctor before adding chlorophyllin.

The best evidence is for its use as a deodorizing agent, while many popular claims like detoxification and digestive benefits are not well proven. It is generally considered safe for short-term use, but talk to your pharmacist or doctor before starting it, especially during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

What Is Celecoxib Used For?

Brand names: Celebrex, Elyxyb

Celecoxib capsules and the generic oral suspension treat the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis (AS), and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA) in children 2 years and older. Celecoxib capsules also treat acute pain and primary dysmenorrhea (painful periods) in adults.

ELYXYB (celecoxib oral liquid) is specifically approved for the acute treatment of migraine with or without aura in adults — but it is not used to prevent migraines. VYSCOXA (celecoxib oral suspension) is not indicated for acute pain or primary dysmenorrhea.
