Chrysin + Aspirin, Ethoheptazine, Meprobamate
Aspirin, Ethoheptazine, Meprobamate brand name: Equagesic.
Aspirin, Ethoheptazine, Meprobamate falls into 2 drug categories that Chrysin can interact with; the most serious is rated moderate. Theoretically, chrysin might increase the risk of bleeding when taken with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.

These two interact in 2 distinct ways. Each one is explained separately below.
Why Are There 2 Interactions?
Chrysin interacts with whole categories of medication. Aspirin, Ethoheptazine, Meprobamate falls into 2 of those categories, so it can interact with Chrysin in 2 different ways. We’ve listed each one below — your overall risk is driven by the most serious of them (Moderate).
ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS
1 of 2Why this applies to Aspirin, Ethoheptazine, Meprobamate
Aspirin, Ethoheptazine, Meprobamate falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Chrysin interacts with.
In vitro evidence suggests that chrysin might inhibit platelet aggregation.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the piece to keep an eye on with Equagesic: it contains aspirin, which already thins your blood a bit by keeping platelets from clumping together. Chrysin, in test-tube studies, seems to do something similar. So the worry is that pairing them could add up and nudge your bleeding risk a little higher. In real life that might look like easier bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or a cut that takes longer to stop.
I'll be honest, this is a theoretical concern based on lab work, not strong human evidence, and chrysin is barely absorbed when swallowed. The other ingredients (ethoheptazine and meprobamate) aren't really part of this. Still, before adding chrysin, run it by your pharmacist or doctor.

GLUCURONIDATED DRUGS
2 of 2Aspirin, Ethoheptazine, Meprobamate also falls under GLUCURONIDATED DRUGS.
In vitro research suggests that chrysin might induce UDP-glucuronosyltransferase 1A1 (UGT1A1).
Interaction has been demonstrated in animal or in lab research but has been shown not to occur in humans..
Here's the honest picture with chrysin and Equagesic (the combo of aspirin, ethoheptazine, and meprobamate). This pain-and-anxiety medication isn't a prodrug, so it doesn't need to be switched on by your body to work. The theory on file is that chrysin might speed up an enzyme called UGT1A1, which helps clear certain medications out. If that happened, your body could remove parts of this drug a little faster, which in theory might make the pain relief or the calming effect feel weaker.
I want to be straight with you though: this is based only on test-tube research, the interaction is rated minor and unlikely, and your body barely absorbs chrysin in the first place. So real-world impact is probably tiny. Still, it's worth mentioning to your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Aspirin, Ethoheptazine, Meprobamate page
“Equagesic combines aspirin with two sedating pain relievers, ethoheptazine and meprobamate, which means supplements can go wrong in two directions at once, and this list earns genuine care before you mix in any of them. Most of the entries add to aspirin's blood-thinning effect and raise bleeding risk, while a large second group deepen…”

About Chrysin
What is Chrysin?
- Bodybuilding and testosterone support
- Anxiety and stress
- Anti-inflammatory
- Antioxidant support
- Prostate health
Chrysin is a plant flavonoid sold mainly as a bodybuilding supplement claimed to raise testosterone or block estrogen, but human studies have not shown these benefits, largely because the body absorbs very little of it. Evidence for its other proposed uses is mostly limited to laboratory and animal research, so its real-world value is unclear. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor before using it.
