Oxycodone, Naloxone falls under CNS DEPRESSANTS — the group Cnidium interacts with.

In laboratory research, cnidium has been shown to have sedative and hypnotic effects, possibly related to constituent coumarins. Theoretically, cnidium may potentiate the effects of barbiturates, other sedatives, and anxiolytics.

Here's the simple version. Targiniq ER pairs oxycodone, a strong opioid pain reliever, with naloxone, which is added to discourage misuse. The oxycodone part already slows down your brain and breathing. Cnidium, in lab and animal studies only, has shown calming, sleep-inducing effects, likely from its natural coumarin compounds. So in theory, stacking it on top of an opioid could add to that slowing-down effect.

What might that look like? More drowsiness, dizziness, foggy thinking, or in a worst case, slowed breathing. I want to be honest though: this is theoretical, based on animal research, not real patient cases. Still, since opioids are nothing to play with, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining the two.
