Janumet pairs two diabetes medicines (metformin and sitagliptin) that already work to bring your blood sugar down. Corn silk isn't broken down by the same pathways here, so this isn't a metabolism problem. Instead, the concern is simply additive: in diabetic mice, corn silk extract lowered fasting blood sugar on its own. So in theory, stacking it on top of Janumet could push your numbers a little lower than expected.

Keep in mind this is theoretical and based on animal data, not solid human studies. If you do try it, watch for signs of low blood sugar like shakiness, sweating, dizziness, or feeling foggy, and check your readings more closely. Please loop in your pharmacist or doctor before adding corn silk so they can guide you.
