Here's the simple version: iloprost (Ventavis) already works by relaxing and widening your blood vessels to ease pressure in your lungs. Corn silk, taken as a concentrated extract, has been shown in some studies to gently lower blood pressure too. So when you put the two together, their blood-pressure-lowering effects can stack up.

What that might feel like is more dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, or flushing, especially when you stand up quickly. This concern is mostly theoretical, based on how each works rather than strong studies of the combination, and an occasional cup of corn silk tea is far less likely to matter than daily extract doses. Still, since iloprost already affects your pressure, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding corn silk.
