Tuinal combines two barbiturates, amobarbital and secobarbital, which are strong sedatives that calm the brain and nervous system. They're already powerful at slowing things down, causing drowsiness, slowed breathing, low blood pressure, and heavy grogginess. Corydalis yanhusuo contains plant compounds that may have their own mild sedating effect, so pairing the two could, in theory, deepen that drowsiness.

I want to be honest here: this concern is theoretical, based on lab and animal research rather than real cases in people. Still, with a medicine as potent as Tuinal, I'd rather you play it safe. Don't start the herb (or change your dose) on your own. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor first so they can weigh it for your situation.
