Indiplon is a sleep medication that works by calming down your central nervous system, much like the better-known drugs zolpidem (Ambien) or eszopiclone (Lunesta). On its own it can make you drowsy, relaxed, and a bit unsteady, especially soon after you take it at bedtime.

Here's the concern: Corydalis yanhusuo contains natural compounds that, in lab and animal studies, appear to have their own calming, sedative-like effects. Stacking two things that slow the brain down could leave you more drowsy than expected, with heavier grogginess, dizziness, poor coordination, or trouble waking fully. This is theoretical and based on early research, not strong human studies, so don't panic. Still, before pairing them, please check in with your pharmacist or doctor.
