Levomethadyl (Orlaam) is a long-acting opioid that was used to treat opioid dependence. Like other opioids, it slows down your central nervous system, which can cause drowsiness, slowed breathing, and a foggy, sedated feeling. Corydalis yanhusuo may add to that calming effect because some of its natural compounds appear to have sedative properties of their own.

I want to be honest about the evidence here: this concern is theoretical and comes mostly from animal and lab studies, not from real cases in people. Still, since opioids already carry a risk of dangerously slowed breathing, stacking anything sedating on top deserves caution. Please don't start or stop either one on your own. Check in with your pharmacist or doctor first so they can guide you safely.
