Dr. Brian Staiger explains PharmD, Clinical Pharmacist

Here's the simple version: Jentadueto already lowers your blood sugar by pairing metformin with linagliptin. The thought is that concentrated cucumber seed extract might nudge your blood sugar down a little further, so the two together could push it lower than you want. That's not a problem with the enzymes that handle these drugs, it's just an additive effect on glucose.

Honestly, this is very theoretical and based only on animal studies, not people. Eating cucumber in a salad won't do much at all. If you take a concentrated cucumber supplement, just watch for low-sugar signs like shakiness, sweating, or dizziness, and check your numbers. Loop in your pharmacist or doctor before adding any new supplement.
