Levobupivacaine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Devil's Claw interacts with.

Theoretically, devil's claw might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
In vitro research shows that devil's claw might inhibit CYP3A4, although this has not been reported in humans.

Here's the gist for Chirocaine (levobupivacaine), a local anesthetic your doctor injects to numb an area or block nerve pain. Your liver clears it partly through an enzyme called CYP3A4. Devil's claw, in lab testing, appears to slow that same enzyme down. In theory, a slower enzyme means the anesthetic could hang around a bit longer and build up, which could nudge up the risk of side effects like dizziness, a metallic taste, numb lips or tongue, ringing in the ears, or an irregular heartbeat.

I want to be honest about the strength here: this is based only on test-tube research and has not been seen in real people, so it's more a caution flag than a proven problem. Since levobupivacaine is usually given in a controlled medical setting, mention any supplements, including devil's claw, to your provider beforehand.
