Theoretically, devil's claw might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
In vitro research shows that devil's claw might inhibit CYP3A4, although this has not been reported in humans.

Here's the gist for someone on Lumakras (sotorasib): your liver uses an enzyme called CYP3A4 to help clear this medicine out of your body. Lab studies hint that devil's claw might slow that same enzyme down. If that happened, sotorasib could build up a bit more than expected, which in theory could mean stronger side effects like nausea, diarrhea, fatigue, or changes in your liver tests.

I want to be honest, though: this concern comes only from test-tube research, not real patients, so it's more of a caution than a proven problem. Since sotorasib is a serious cancer treatment, please don't add devil's claw without first checking with your oncologist or pharmacist.

What Is Sotorasib Used For?

Brand name: Lumakras

Lumakras is used to treat adults with KRAS G12C-mutated locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who have already received at least one prior cancer treatment. This use was approved based on tumor response data, and continued approval depends on results from ongoing confirmatory studies.

Lumakras is also approved — used together with panitumumab — for adults with KRAS G12C-mutated metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) who have already received prior chemotherapy regimens containing fluoropyrimidine, oxaliplatin, and irinotecan. In both cases, patients must have a confirmed KRAS G12C mutation detected by an FDA-approved test before starting treatment.
