This product pairs aspirin (the part that matters here) with two antacids that buffer your stomach. Aspirin already works by making platelets less sticky, which is exactly how it helps prevent clots, heart attacks, and strokes. The concern is that DHEA may also nudge platelets in that same direction, so stacking the two could, in theory, add up to a higher bleeding risk.

What that might look like with aspirin includes easier bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or stomach irritation. Keep in mind this warning comes from lab and limited human research, so it is more of a theoretical caution than a proven problem. Still, it is worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, especially if you take aspirin daily or have any bleeding history.

What Is Aspirin Used For?

Brand name: Ascriptin

Aspirin is used to temporarily relieve minor aches and pains from headaches, backaches, muscle aches, toothaches, menstrual cramps, the common cold, and minor arthritis pain. It also temporarily reduces fever.

Some coated aspirin tablet products note that, under a doctor's supervision, aspirin can help prevent another heart attack or stroke in adults who have already had one. Because of their delayed-release design, those coated products will not give fast relief for headaches or other symptoms needing quick relief.
