Theoretically, DHEA might increase the levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.

Here's the gist with DHEA and your Anacin (aspirin plus caffeine). There is some early lab-based hint that DHEA may slow down a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. The caffeine portion is mostly handled by a different enzyme (CYP1A2), and aspirin is cleared its own way, so this particular pairing isn't a strong concern for most people.

If DHEA did nudge things, the most you might notice is the caffeine feeling a touch stronger or lasting a bit longer, things like jitteriness, a racing heart, or trouble sleeping. This is theoretical and based only on weak, anecdotal evidence, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, since DHEA is a hormone with its own effects, run it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

Here's the thing to keep in mind with Anacin: the aspirin part already thins your blood a bit by keeping platelets (the cells that form clots) from sticking together. DHEA, in lab and some human research, seems to do a similar thing on its own. So when you stack the two, you may get a little extra blood-thinning effect than aspirin alone.

In real life, that could show up as easier bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or cuts that take longer to stop. To be fair, this is mostly theoretical and based on weaker lab evidence, so it's not a guaranteed problem for most people. Still, if you take aspirin daily or have any bleeding concerns, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding DHEA.
