Esomeprazole, Naproxen falls under CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES — the group Eurycoma Longifolia interacts with.

Theoretically, Eurycoma longifolia might increase levels CYP1A2 substrates.
In vitro research suggests that methanolic Eurycoma longifolia root extract weakly inhibits CYP1A2 enzymes. This effect has not been reported in humans.

Vimovo is a combo pill: esomeprazole (an acid-reducing PPI) plus naproxen (an anti-inflammatory pain reliever). The concern here is theoretical only. In a test-tube study, tongkat ali weakly blocked a liver enzyme called CYP1A2, which plays a small role in clearing these drugs. If that blocking happened in real life, levels could nudge up a little, possibly meaning more stomach upset, heartburn, or, with the naproxen part, a touch more risk of irritation or GI discomfort.

The important part: this has never actually been seen in people, and the lab effect was weak. For most folks this is unlikely to cause real trouble. Still, it's worth a quick mention to your pharmacist or doctor, especially if you have stomach or kidney concerns.

Vimovo is a combo pill containing esomeprazole (a stomach acid reducer) and naproxen (an anti-inflammatory pain reliever). The esomeprazole part is handled by a liver enzyme called CYP2C19. In a test tube, tongkat ali weakly blocked that enzyme, which could in theory let esomeprazole linger a bit longer in your body.

Here's the honest part: this was only seen in lab dishes, never in actual people, and it's rated a minor, theoretical concern. Even if it did happen, slightly higher esomeprazole levels aren't usually a big deal. I wouldn't lose sleep over it, but since supplement quality varies a lot, it's worth a quick mention to your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
