Hydrochlorothiazide, Moexipril falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Hoodia interacts with.

Clinical research shows that hoodia can increase blood pressure. Theoretically, concomitant use of hoodia with antihypertensive drugs might decrease the effectiveness of the antihypertensive drugs and increase the risk of hypertension. Some antihypertensive drugs include captopril (Capoten), enalapril (Vasotec), losartan (Cozaar), valsartan (Diovan), diltiazem (Cardizem), Amlodipine (Norvasc), hydrochlorothiazide (HydroDiuril), furosemide (Lasix), and many others.

Uniretic combines two blood pressure lowering medicines: hydrochlorothiazide (a water pill) and moexipril (an ACE inhibitor). The whole point of this combo is to keep your blood pressure in a healthy range. Here's the catch with hoodia: some research suggests it may actually raise blood pressure. So if you take it alongside Uniretic, the worry is that it could work against your medicine and make it harder to keep your numbers down.

To be fair, this is a theoretical concern based on how hoodia behaves, not on strong studies of the two together. Still, since you're already treating high blood pressure, I'd keep an eye on your readings at home and check in with your pharmacist or doctor before starting hoodia rather than guessing.
