Theoretically, concurrent use of isoniazid and hydrazine sulfate might increase the risk for liver damage.
Hydrazine sulfate is a metabolite of isoniazid. Animal research shows that hydrazine sulfate might be responsible for isoniazid-induced hepatotoxicity.

Here's the connection worth knowing. Your medicine Rifamate combines isoniazid and rifampin to treat tuberculosis, and your liver already works hard to process both of them. Interestingly, when your body breaks down isoniazid, one of the leftover byproducts it forms is hydrazine, and that byproduct is thought to be a big reason isoniazid can stress the liver in the first place.

So adding a hydrazine sulfate supplement on top could, in theory, pile more of this liver-stressing chemical onto an organ that's already busy. I'll be honest: this concern comes mostly from lab and animal studies, not strong human data. Still, watch for warning signs like yellowing skin or eyes, dark urine, nausea, or belly pain, and please talk with your doctor or pharmacist before mixing these.
