Diroximel Fumarate falls under IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS — the group Ipriflavone interacts with.

Concurrent use of ipriflavone and immunosuppressant drugs might have additive effects on inhibiting immune function. Some patients taking ipriflavone experience subclinical lymphocytopenia; avoid concurrent use. Immunosuppressant drugs include azathioprine (Imuran), basiliximab (Simulect), cyclosporine (Neoral, Sandimmune), daclizumab (Zenapax), muromonab-CD3 (OKT3, Orthoclone OKT3), mycophenolate (CellCept), tacrolimus (FK506, Prograf), sirolimus (Rapamune), prednisone (Deltasone, Orasone), and other corticosteroids (glucocorticoids).

Here's the thing to know about pairing ipriflavone with Vumerity (diroximel fumarate). Vumerity already tends to lower certain white blood cells, especially lymphocytes, as part of how it calms the overactive immune response in MS. That drop is something your neurologist watches with regular blood work.

Ipriflavone has been linked to a quiet dip in lymphocyte counts in some people too. Stacking the two could nudge those numbers down further, which over time may raise your risk of infections. It's not a sure thing for everyone, but because both can push in the same direction, I'd loop in your pharmacist or doctor before adding ipriflavone rather than starting it on your own.
