Why this applies to Acenocoumarol

Acenocoumarol falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Jackfruit interacts with.

Theoretically, jackfruit latex might increase the risk of bleeding when taken with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
Jackfruit latex, which is the sap from jackfruit bark, contains chemicals that might increase the risk of bleeding. In vitro research shows that jackfruit latex contains a glycoprotein constituent that prolongs the activated partial thrombin time (aPTT) and reduces the activity of blood coagulation factors XIa and alpha-XIIa. Jackfruit latex also contains a protease constituent that has been shown to have fibrinolytic activity in vitro. Other parts of jackfruit, including the fruit and leaves, have not been shown to contain chemicals with fibrinolytic and anticoagulant activity.

Here's the short version: acenocoumarol (Sintrom) is already a blood thinner, and it's a drug where small shifts can tip your INR too high. The concern on file is with jackfruit latex, the sticky sap from the bark, not the fruit you eat. In lab studies that sap contains compounds that can slow clotting on their own, so stacking it on top of acenocoumarol could in theory nudge your bleeding risk higher (think easy bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or blood in urine or stool).

Good news: the everyday jackfruit you eat as food has not shown this clot-slowing activity, and this whole concern rests on test-tube data, not real patients. So enjoying jackfruit is very likely fine. I'd just avoid concentrated latex products and check with your pharmacist or doctor first.
