Here's the simple version. Clobazam already calms down overactive brain signals, which is how it helps control seizures, but that same action can leave you feeling drowsy, foggy, or unsteady. The concern on file is that jackfruit seeds may add to that sleepy effect, so stacking the two could make you more tired or slow to react than usual.

I want to be honest about how shaky this evidence is. It comes only from animal studies, not people, and it points to concentrated seed extracts, not a normal serving of the fruit. Eating jackfruit as a food is very unlikely to cause a problem. If you're thinking about jackfruit seed supplements while on clobazam, run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.

What Is Clobazam Used For?

Brand names: Frisium, Onfi, Sympazan

Clobazam is used as an add-on (adjunctive) treatment for seizures linked to Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (LGS), a severe form of childhood-onset epilepsy. It is approved for patients 2 years of age and older.

This indication applies to all available forms: Sympazan (dissolving oral film), Onfi (tablets and oral suspension), and generic clobazam tablets and oral suspension.
