Here's the gist: Secobarbital (Seconal) already slows down your brain to help you fall asleep. Marsh Labrador tea is thought to add to that calming, sedating effect, so pairing the two could leave you more drowsy, groggy, dizzy, or unsteady than you'd expect. In plainer terms, the brakes on your nervous system may get pushed harder than intended.

I'll be straight with you though: this is a theoretical concern based on how the plant behaves, not solid human studies. It also matters that this tea can contain natural toxins and isn't considered safe for regular use on its own. Because secobarbital is already a powerful sedative, I'd skip combining them and check with your pharmacist or doctor first.
