Lofexidine Hydrochloride falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Passion Flower interacts with.

Theoretically, passion flower might decrease the effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research suggests that passion flower can induce CYP3A4 enzymes, albeit to a much lower degree than rifampin, a known CYP3A4 inducer.

Here's the gist: your body uses an enzyme called CYP3A4 to help break down lofexidine (Lucemyra). Passion flower might gently speed that enzyme up, so in theory it could clear lofexidine a little faster and make it slightly less effective. For you, that might mean your opioid withdrawal symptoms (the nausea, cramps, aches, chills, and trouble sleeping) aren't quite as well controlled.

Honestly, I wouldn't lose sleep over this one. The concern comes only from lab and test-tube research, not real patients, and passion flower is a far weaker enzyme nudger than known strong inducers. Still, since you're managing withdrawal during a tough stretch, it's worth a quick word with your pharmacist or prescriber before adding it.
