Zopiclone falls under CNS DEPRESSANTS — the group Pinellia Ternata interacts with.

Evidence from animal research shows that a Pinellia ternata preparation decreases activity and increases sleeping time. Theoretically, Pinellia ternata can potentiate the therapeutic effect of CNS depressants. Some of these medications include antihistamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, tricyclic antidepressants, and others.

Zopiclone is a sleeping pill that already calms down your central nervous system to help you drift off. The concern here is that Pinellia ternata may add to that calming effect. In animal studies, a Pinellia preparation lowered activity and lengthened sleep, so combining it with zopiclone could, in theory, deepen the drowsiness, making you feel groggier, more sleepy the next morning, dizzy, or less steady on your feet.

I want to be honest about the strength of this: the evidence comes from lab and animal work, not human studies, so it's more of a theoretical caution than a proven problem. Zopiclone is not a prodrug, so this is simply an additive sedative effect, not a change in how the drug is broken down. Still, before pairing these, please check with your pharmacist or doctor.
