Here's the gist with this pairing. Lasmiditan (Reyvow) already tends to make people drowsy or dizzy, and it can slow your thinking a bit, which is why you're told not to drive for at least 8 hours after a dose. Shepherd's purse has been reported to have some calming or sedative-type effects, so the worry is that stacking the two together could add up and leave you feeling extra sleepy, lightheaded, or foggy.

I want to be honest about the strength of this one: it's theoretical, based on how these things might behave rather than solid human studies. Shepherd's purse doesn't change how your body breaks lasmiditan down, so this isn't about drug levels building up. What Is Lasmiditan Used For?

Brand name: Reyvow

Reyvow (lasmiditan) is used to treat migraine attacks in adults, whether or not the migraine comes with an aura (visual or sensory symptoms that can appear before or during the headache). It is taken when a migraine starts — not used daily to prevent migraines from happening.

Reyvow is not intended for preventive (daily) migraine therapy. It is meant to stop an attack that has already begun.
