Bromfenac Sodium falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Terminalia interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of Terminalia arjuna with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs may increase the risk of bleeding in some patients.
In vitro, Terminalia arjuna bark extract inhibits platelet aggregation, decreases platelet activation, and shows antithrombotic properties.

Here's the practical angle on combining Terminalia (often Terminalia arjuna) with bromfenac eye drops like Prolensa or Bromsite. Bromfenac is an NSAID, and even though you're using it after cataract surgery, NSAIDs can nudge platelets toward easier bleeding. Lab studies hint that Terminalia may also reduce how well platelets clump together. Put together, the theory is a slightly higher bleeding tendency in some folks.

That said, this is theoretical and based only on test-tube research, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. With eye drops, very little drug reaches your bloodstream. Still, if you notice unusual bruising, bleeding that won't stop, or extra redness or bleeding at the surgical eye, mention it. A quick chat with your pharmacist or surgeon is the safest move before mixing them.
