Hydrochlorothiazide, Losartan Potassium falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Thunder God Vine interacts with.

Theoretically, thunder god vine might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that triptolide, a constituent of thunder god vine, inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes in human microsomes. This interaction has not been reported in humans.

Here's the quick picture with Hyzaar (the losartan plus hydrochlorothiazide combo). One piece of this herb, called triptolide, has been shown in lab dish studies to slow down an enzyme named CYP3A4. That enzyme helps process losartan into its active form. So in theory, blocking it could shift how much active drug you get and slightly change your blood pressure control.

I want to be honest, though: this is only a theoretical concern from test-tube research, and it has never actually been reported in real people. If it did matter, you might notice your blood pressure running a little off, more dizziness, or lightheadedness. Thunder God Vine is potent and needs medical oversight anyway, so please loop in your doctor or pharmacist before combining them.
