Here's something worth knowing if you've just had cataract surgery and use bromfenac eye drops. Bromfenac is an NSAID, and like other drugs in that family it can slightly nudge up bleeding risk. Tree turmeric (its active piece is berberine) has shown in lab and animal studies that it may make platelets a little less sticky, so on paper the two could add together.

I want to be honest about how soft this evidence is. It's theoretical, based only on test-tube and animal work, and bromfenac is an eye drop, so very little reaches your bloodstream. For most folks this is low concern, but if you notice unusual bruising, nosebleeds, or bleeding around the eye, mention it to your surgeon or pharmacist before changing anything.
