Here's the simple version: both wild lettuce and Belsomra (suvorexant) can make you drowsy. Suvorexant already quiets the wakefulness signals in your brain to help you sleep, and wild lettuce is traditionally used as a calming, sleep-promoting herb. Stacking them could add up, so you might feel more sleepy than expected, groggy or foggy the next morning, dizzy, or unsteady on your feet.

I want to be honest about the evidence though. This concern is theoretical, based on how these things behave rather than solid human studies, since wild lettuce hasn't been well researched. It isn't a dangerous chemical clash, just a possible doubling-up of the sleepy effect. Please run it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, and don't drive until you know how you react.
