- Theanine is a molecule similar to Glutamic Acid, and is found in Green Tea, although in small amounts. Pure Theanine causes a noticable sense of calm in users and increases dopamine, which is the reward chemical found in the brain. Theanine has also been shown to increase alpha waves, which is responsible for relaxed and calming thoughts. Take the edge off a stressful day, or promote a long-term strategy for stress reduction, by including Theanine in your daily regimen.
